Madeleine McCann: 5 years on

Tomorrow marks five years since the disappearance of Madeleine McCann from her parent’s hotel room in Praia Da Luz, Portugal. I can’t begin to imagine the pain her family must feel and I often think of this case.

As most people probably remember Madeleine as a three-year old girl, the Metropolitan police have released an image of what she may look like now at nearly 9. I hope that by posting this on the blog tonight, others may see it and spread the picture on their sites.

Don’t forget Madeleine may now speak a different language, with a different accent and may have different hair colouring or tanned skin, but one thing that won’t change is that her right eye’s pupil stretches to meet the iris.

If you have any information contact your local police force and Operation Grange on 0207 321 9251 (UK) or +44 207 321 9251 (non-UK) or operation.grange@met.pnn.police.uk. You can even contact Crimestoppers IN CONFIDENCE on 0800 555111 or http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org

Someone out there knows what happened to this little girl, they just have to come forward!

Lets hope 2012 is the year we find Madeleine. x
